Acne Gimmicks are fairly easy to spot. The reason is that Acne is a Bacterial Infection in the Oil (Sebaceous) Gland, by definition! They always miss one of these four requirements of Never having Acne:

Engage and Nourish the Immune System to kill the bacterial infection!

Use Antibacterial to prevent spreading bacteria across face!

Manage pores to open and close at the right stages and clarify them to be free of clotted oil and clogging elements!

Generate New Collagen as a consequence of engaging the Immune System! This is the telltale sign that the immune system is strong!
Medication is Antibacterial!

Medication makes our case about infected oil glands because the medication is often a strong antibacterial cream or lotion. It is even strong enough to use on venereal diseases, but it does not really address other conditions of acne. Medication does, however, kill the bacteria outside of the oil gland that could spread. It waits for the immune system to kill bacteria in the oil gland.
A better approach would be to use skincare to engage and nourish the immune system to kill the bacteria itself, stop the spread of bacteria to new pores and clarify pores after obliterating bacteria.
Kill Bacterial Infection before Clarifying Pores!

We are all for clarifying the pore and even consider it a vital part of living without acne. The problem comes when the clogged pore is holding back the bacteria–infected oil that is released all over the skin when the pore is clarified. This just creates acne in other spots. It could also create bright red, patchy skin tones that do not have pimple cores.
A better solution would be to use skincare that engages the immune system in the pore and avoids spreading it across face before clarifying pore!
Swirly Brushes are Acne Gimmicks!

Skincare routines that offer swirly brushes generally ignore bacterial infections, which is a complete Acne Gimmick! They also do not warn users to only use the brush when water is streaming over the face. Otherwise, the brush may just be spreading bacteria and pushing dead skin into other pores, the second part of the Acne Gimmick!
In addition, brush-scrubbing may break pimples that are holding back bacteria-infected oil, which just creates new acne, the third part of the Acne Gimmick. Their advertisements do say that it may take a long time to clarify the complexion, which makes sense.
A better solution would be to throw away the brush, use Enzyme and AHA, engage the immune system and look better doing it. This process also happens to be a lot faster, like a few days.
Benzoyl Peroxide Products are Total Acne Gimmicks!

A surprising number of young people are getting skin cancer!
One researcher claims that they could tie some of this rise in skin cancer rates to products that contain benzoyl peroxide. The researcher even asked the FDA to pull these products until a link could or could not be made between cancer and benzoyl peroxide. The FDA rejected the idea until more research could be done. In the meantime, nobody can explain why skin cancer rates in young people are rising.
Regardless of whether or not it causes skin cancer, benzoyl peroxide creates a murky complexion that looks older than it should and that turns the complexion unattractive. You could see this in any gym. That is enough for us to never put it in anything we offer to treat acne.
A better approach would be to use an antibacterial skincare, engage and nourish the immune system, and enjoy the attractive complexion that new collagen always creates.

Sulfur is One of Those Acne Gimmicks That May Permanently Discolor Skin!

Sulfur in Skincare Products could be pretty effective at treating acne, even if these products do not prevent new acne. In addition, they do not engage or nourish the immune system, and they could discolor collagen. Sometimes, the discoloration could be permanent. It also has uncomfortable side effects.
Do you know what does not discolor skin or have uncomfortable side effects? Skincare that treats bacterial infections and engages the immune system, while looking and feeling better, too!
Spot Treatments Suggest Changing Skincare Routine!

Spot Treatments are not only harsh chemicals but also suggest Skincare Routine failure. Furthermore, they ignore the rest of the face in which another pimple may form.
A better approach would be to change the skincare routine to cover the entire face to avoid acne and look better.
Accutane is Unhealthy, Expensive and An Acne Gimmicks!

As with any supplement, the generic versions of Accutane have to build up in the system before being effective. Once they become effective, you must keep taking them. This costs two to three times as much as the best skincare routines to never have acne. Plus, you still have to buy something to wash and moisturize your face.
These are some of the awful Side Effects of Accutane:

Dry Skin, Hair and Eyes!

It also has the potential to promote mental health issues like depression or anxiety, which could become permanent!
A better approach would be to kill bacterial infection, engage the immune system, and use antibacterial skincare to stop the spread.
Scrubs and Masks Are Not Adequate for Acne!

We believe in scrubs and masks, which is why we offer a Purifying Black Mask that is antibacterial. We would even suggest using them to clarify pores and slough off dead skin. However, it is not possible to use scrubs and masks twice a day to address acne.
A better approach would be to use one of our daily Acne Skincare Recipes, as they are meant to balance the skin to never need a scrub or mask.
Laser on Forehead Bumps Severely Damage Oil Glands

Who thinks this is a good idea?
They take a Laser and cut all of the oil glands down in size. This means that the skin is getting less oil, less Vitamin E and less everything else that Sebum delivers to the skin.
On top of that, 20-year-olds should not have lines on their foreheads. Lasering oil glands to be smaller may promote those lines! Look at the young people who do this, such as Hollywood stars. It does not take long for lines to develop!
A better way would be to manage the oil, acne and bumps with the right Skincare. Any of our Acne Skincare Recipes could render laser on the forehead unnecessary! Plus, people still wash and moisturize their faces! Why not do it better?
Summary of Acne Gimmicks

Acne Gimmicks do not deal with the root cause of acne and keep their users wasting time and money on pointless efforts that do not prevent acne. They may also cause damage to the skin or raise skin cancer rates in young people.
The nonsense is spending all the money on acne gimmicks, plus using a skincare regimen that does not prevent acne. Then, people claim that it is too expensive to use a proper Never Acne Routine to manage all 4 conditions at the top of post. By the numbers, the better routine takes less time and money!
Whatever the gimmick is, there are better ways to live life without acne, while also having a more attractive, healthy complexion!
